The Tampa Bay Buccaneers already had one of the most lethal one-two punches at the wide receiver position in Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. However, Tom Brady will soon have another weapon in the fold.

The Bucs agreed to terms on a one-year deal with former All-Pro Antonio Brown, who is eligible to return from suspension after Week 8.

Tom Brady attempted to bring Antonio Brown under his wing and provide some stability after AB forced a trade from the Raiders to the New England Patriots last year.

The pairing lasted just one game, as Brown was cut by the Pats following multiple sexual assault allegations.

The Buccaneers quarterback explained his relationship with Brown on Wednesday, saying he strives to make a “positive impact” in the locker room. The six-time Super Bowl champion also stated he has a pay it forward kind of mentality with respect to other players:

“A lot of people weren't born with the same advantages I've had…I want to see other guys succeed,” Buccaneers gunslinger Tom Braid said via Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.

Brown's suspension stemmed from the noted off-field incidents. It was unknown whether any team would give him a contract even after his suspension ran its course, but Bruce Arians and Co. are convinced Brown will stay on track and focus on football.

It likely helps to have Brady keeping everyone organized.

Tampa Bay's fiery quarterback has responded positively to the team's Week 5 loss against the Bears, leading the Bucs to a win over the Green Bay Packers before shredding the Las Vegas Raiders' secondary in Week 7.

Brady and the Bucs offense are firing on all cylinders. They will hope Brown can bring even more explosive playmaking to the table.
