For the first time in each of their Hall of Fame-worthy careers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers superstar Tom Brady and New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees will finally face each other in an NFL playoff game.
The duel is set to happen this weekend, as Brady's Buccaneers will be going up against Brees' Saints. Both star QBs are on their 20th and 19th seasons, respectively, and the whole world will be watching as the two giants lead each of their teams to go past the Divisional Round of the NFL playoffs.
Ahead of their epic matchup, Brady poked fun at their upcoming age-old battle and suggested that the game should be televised on the History Channel. The six-time Super Bowl champion is 43 while Brees is turning 42 prior to their game on Sunday.

Drew Brees, who's a Super Bowl champion in his own right, has gotten the best of Tom Brady this season. The Saints have won both of their showdowns against the Buccaneers in the regular season. They opened the season with a tight 24-23 win at home and dominated Tampa Bay in November with a 38-3 blowout.
Brady's Buccaneers, though, have been able to figure things out since. After that embarrassing loss against New Orleans in November, Tampa Bay has won six of their last eight games, including a huge win against the Washington Football Team to set-up the Divisional Round bout against the Saints. Brady had himself quite a game against Washington, as he threw 381 yards with two touchdowns while the rest of his offense continued their strong outing.
After two decades of waiting, we're finally getting Brady vs. Brees in the playoffs. January 17 can't come any sooner.
