Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady is not getting punished for his unsportsmanlike conduct during their divisional round showdown with the Los Angeles Rams.

To recall, Brady was called for his first ever career personal foul when he got into the face of referee Shawn Hochuli following a brutal Von Miller hit. The Buccaneers superstar was clearly not happy with the fact that the official let the hit to his head slide even though it left him with bloodied lips.

As seen in the video replays following the play, Brady screamed at the official's face in frustration.

Despite the incident, however, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network confirmed that the league did not fine Tom Brady. For what it's worth, Hochuli claimed that the Buccaneers signal-caller got in his face in an “aggressive manner” and “used abusive language”–which was why he was called for unsportsmanlike conduct.

Prior to the NFL's decision, Brady explained in his “Let's Go” podcast that while he did use abusive language, there's no profanity in it.

“And I’ve done that literally a thousand times over the course of my career and never got called. In this instance, before I could realize it, the flag was thrown. And I was looking at the guy like, ‘Are you kidding me?' I didn’t cuss, I didn’t do any of those things …” the Buccaneers QB added.

At least Brady can now remove the incident from his list of things to worry about. After all, he has a tough decision to make after rumors of his retirement surfaced, only to be revealed as a premature news that is not official.

It remains to be seen what Brady will do regarding his future, but many believe he has played his final snap in the NFL.
