When Tom Brady announced his unretirement from the NFL and return to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier this March, his wife Gisele Bundchen was one of the very first people to react to the news.

Contrary to previous reports, though, Gisele showed support to her husband and even shared he excitement to Brady's return to the Buccaneers to take care of some unfinished business.

Unsurprisingly, according to People, Brady consulted Bundchen about his unretirement and it was ultimately a “family decision.” TB12 wouldn't have come out of retirement if his wife didn't agree with it, but the Brazilian model has remained supportive of the Buccaneers QB.

“Gisele has been vocal about wanting him to retire for years but she's also his biggest cheerleader. He would never do it if she weren't on board,” a source told People. “Everything they do they decide as a family.”

For what it's worth, Gisele Bundchen reportedly hoped that Tom Brady would be happy with his retirement. However, the 44-year-old still feels determined to play and continue his career.

“She wants Tom to be happy, but she is always worried about him getting injured,” another source shared to People.

Prior to Brady's unretirement announcement, there were already a lot of talks about his potential return–something that actually started just one week after he called it a career. In fact, Dallas Cowboys legend Michael Irving predicted that Brady would decide to come back after a few months since he knows the NFL icon is really competitive.

“Once you get a break for about five or six months and you go home and you just left a football field where you were bossing everybody, and now you go home and you’re being bossed. After five months of that, you’ll probably be like ‘I think I want to go back to the football field.’ I’m telling you that right now,” Irvin said.

One of Brady's main reasons for initially calling it a career was his family, mentioning in previous interviews that he wants to be a good husband to Gisele and a great father to their kids. Clearly, though, Brady loves the game of football so much and it's something that his family is well aware of.
