Andre Iguodala was absolutely hyped after witnessing Giannis Antetokounmpo's monster clutch block on Deandre Ayton in Game 4 of the Milwaukee Bucks-Phoenix Suns NBA Finals series. In fact, he couldn't help but compare it to LeBron James' own iconic block.

On Twitter, Iguodala called the block “crazy” before mentioning it was like what LeBron did for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016. For those not in the know, it was Iggy who got blocked by King James that time.

To recall, in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals, LeBron James pulled off unarguably the most important chasedown block of his career when he stopped Andre Iguodala's seemingly open run to the basket. It basically shifted the momentum of the game to the Cavs, with Kyrie Irving eventually hitting the game-winning triple to bring Cleveland its first and lone Larry O'Brien trophy.

Making the moment even more iconic was the fact that Cleveland had to come back from a 3-1 deficit in the series.

As for Giannis Antetokounmpo, while his block for the Bucks didn't happen in a Game 7, it's just as crucial. After all, should they win the Finals, everyone would say that it's the play of the  showdown.

With the Bucks leading by just two at 101-99 and over a minute remaining on the clock, Devin Booker lobbed the ball to Ayton who had an open look at the rim. However, the Greek Freak showed his moniker is not just for display, as he jumped to stop the play. It gave Milwaukee the momentum and confidence they needed to stage a run and close out the game 109-103 and tie things up at 2-2.

While both blocks are different, Iguodala is right: Giannis' rejection has the same intensity, importance and vibe as LeBron's. Hopefully, we get to see more of such plays in what is now a true series.
