The Milwaukee Bucks got embarrassed by the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night, 136-100.

Milwaukee couldn't get anything going on the offensive or defensive side of the ball as Khris Middleton only scored nine points, and Jrue Holiday finished with 14. This was the worst that the Bucks have looked all season and has certainly led to some questioning about the future of this team and what they're going to do at this year's trade deadline.

Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets did what he normally does, scoring 18 points, 15 assists, and grabbing nine rebounds in only three quarters. This is a typical Jokic stat line, but he went above and above on Sunday to ensure that his teammates had open looks, as the Nuggets hit 53.5 percent from three-point range on over 40 attempts.

After the game, Eric Nehm of The Athletic reported that Giannis Anetokounmpo and Jrue Holiday discussed how they disagreed with some of the Bucks' defensive schemes against Jokic,

“We needed to play him straight up, make him go one-on-one all night long.”

This isn't a cause for concern among Bucks fans, since a few players expressed their dissatisfaction with the plays called last season.

Unfortunately for Milwaukee, this was simply another dreadful game that they'll have to forget. If they want to be the team that everyone wants them to be, they'll figure it out, and if they get everyone back in shape and make a few changes before the deadline, they'll be one of the best teams in the NBA once again, with a chance to compete for a championship.
