Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are finally NBA champions. It was a tremendous season for the squad and the Greek Freak made sure to point out that he did things the hard way. Stick with the same team, grow, develop. Don't join a superteam.

Well, former NBA player and current co-host of the All The Smoke Podcast, Stephen Jackson, wasn't so fond of the Bucks star's comments.

Sorry, what? Jackson is essentially trying to take away this moment from Giannis and the Bucks. You have to remember that Milwaukee has built this team from the ground up. The Greek Freak and Khris Middleton have been through all the struggles to finally get to this point. Jrue Holiday doesn't even average 20 points per game. but yes, he is a solid defender. However, this is definitely not a superteam.

Jackson got absolutely roasted in the comments for these remarks, and so he should. The Bucks are fundamentally sound on both sides of the ball and won this NBA title fair and square. As Antetokounmpo said, he could've jetted for a superteam in the offseason. But he decided to stay put and continue to fight for NBA glory.

Credit needs to be given to him for leading the Bucks to the promised land.
