The Milwaukee Bucks landed themselves a promising young prospect in MarJon Beauchamp, who they selected with the 24th pick in the NBA Draft. Not only that, but Beauchamp ended up in a location that figures to be great for his development as a player, with stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middleton beside him on the court. Beauchamp was asked about not only making it to the league but being able to play alongside these two talented players on a championship-level squad. Here's Beauchamp's response, via Sam DiGiovanni of ClutchPoints.

Beauchamp said that he's “so excited” for the opportunity to learn from both Giannis Antetokounmpo and Khris Middelton on the Bucks. The NBA Draft prospect said that he felt that “God put him in this position to become one of them.”

Beauchamp, who was one of three players taken in the NBA Draft to play for the G-League Ignite, flashed his skills as a two-way wing, averaging 15.1 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 1.6 steals while shooting 57.1 percent from the field.

Beauchamp should fit right in defensively alongside Antetokounmpo and Middleton, who are both adept at that end of the floor. Both Bucks stars were questionable three-point shooters entering the NBA, much like the talented NBA Draft prospect.

However, Middelton has become downright deadly from that distance, with Giannis turning himself into a capable shooter. Beauchamp has a chance to do the same while competing for a championship in Milwaukee.

No wonder he's excited.
