The Milwaukee Bucks looked dead in the water in the fourth quarter against the visiting Heat on Wednesday night, trailing 113-99 with under six minutes to play. The defending champions then flipped a switch, going on a 21-6 surge to finish the game to secure a shocking 120-119 win.

Jrue Holiday capped off the game with a game-winning shot after the Bucks won a jump ball. This came moments after it looked like the Heat were going to hold on. Giannis Antetokounmpo had just missed a shot with Milwaukee down four, giving Miami possession with around 30 seconds left. But the Bucks forced a Tyler Herro turnover, Khris Middleton hit a 3-pointer and then the jump ball was forced, leading to Holiday's game-winner.

After the game, Giannis expressed little surprise at his team's ability to dig deep and make a stirring comeback. The Greek Freak cited a prior instance in which something similar happened, via Steve Megargee of The Associated Press:

“We’ve done it before,” said Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo, who had 28 points, 17 rebounds and five assists. “We did it against Boston. We were down 13 in the Christmas game (with five minutes left) and came back and won the game.”

The Bucks star also discussed what happened on the controversial jump-ball call, which featured some contact but no call when he tied up Jimmy Butler:

“I was able to get my hands on the ball, and at the end of the day, when you want to win, things just happen,” Antetokounmpo said. “That’s just instinct talking.”

Giannis took to Twitter after the game with a simple message:

As exciting as this game was, Holiday doesn't want to “dwell” on the victory. He knows Milwaukee must refocus and get ready for a big road game on national television against the Chicago Bulls on Friday. The Bucks are now 38-25 on the season, which is three games behind the Heat for first in the Eastern Conference.
