Giannis Antetokounmpo made history yet again on Wednesday night as he surpassed the great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for the most playoff points in Milwaukee Bucks franchise history.

The Bucks superstar scored his historic deuce with less than eight minutes remaining in the first half of Wednesday's Game 2 clash against the Chicago Bulls (h/t NBA on Twitter):

It may have been a simple layup for Giannis but it certainly has lifted his status as the Bucks franchise GOAT. Some might argue that this title still belongs to Kareem but at this point, it's getting harder and harder to contest Antetokounmpo's claim to the throne. There are few players in the history of the game that can be mentioned in the same breath as Abdul-Jabbar but there's no denying that Giannis is one of them.

Giannis will need to be at his very best on Wednesday as the Bucks look to make it 2-0 against a formidable Bulls side. Antetokounmpo and Co. will want to take a 2-0 advantage to Chicago when this opening-round series shifts to the Bulls' home court for Games 3 and 4. It goes without saying that a lot will be riding for Antetokounmpo and his legacy in this series.
