For the first time since 2001, the Milwaukee Bucks have advanced to the Eastern Conference Finals after making quick work of the Boston Celtics in the second round of the playoffs, winning their best-of-seven series 4-1.

The only loss that the Bucks suffered happened during the series opener when the Celtics stunned them at home 112-90. Milwaukee then responded with four straight wins, looking dominant on both ends of the floor. Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks showed the entire NBA that their league-leading regular season record was no fluke.

After the Bucks' Game 5 victory, Antetokounmpo said that the team's morale wasn't shaken after losing the first game because Eric Bledsoe texted the entire team that they will still win the series.

Well, that's exactly what happened.

The Celtics had no answer for Giannis, who started to dominate the series in Game 2. Meanwhile, the Bucks' defense caused Boston's Kyrie Irving to be a non-factor on offense. The All-Star guard shot the ball poorly from Games 3-5.

Now, the Bucks await the winner of the Toronto Raptors-Philadelphia 76ers series. They have all the momentum and the motivation they need, and they will be well-rested for the series opener next week. Milwaukee's confidence is growing each day, and they will need that for the conference finals.

Things are looking good for the Bucks, but they still have work to do. Now their next goal is to reach the Finals, which they haven't done since 1971.

This is the perfect opportunity for Milwaukee to remind the rest of the league that it's now time to Fear the Deer.
