Milwaukee Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo says point guard Eric Bledsoe went at Brooklyn Nets guard D’Angelo Russell on Monday because he thinks he should have been an All-Star over Russell.

Russell was named as Indiana Pacers shooting guard Victor Oladipo's injury replacement in the 2019 All-Star game.

Statistically, D’Angelo Russell is having a better year than Eric Bledsoe. The lefty entered Monday averaging 19.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 6.4 assists. Bledsoe, meanwhile, came into Monday putting up 15.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists.

The Bucks have the best record in the East, though, so it looks like Bledsoe and Giannis Antetokounmpo think the team's winning record should have given the edge to Bledsoe over Russell.

It didn't, however, so Bledsoe took his anger out on Russell and the Nets on Monday:

Eric Bledsoe finished with 15 points, three rebounds, five assists, and five steals in the Bucks' win over the Nets on Monday while shooting 6-of-16 from the field. The explosive guard was a plus-13 in his 27 minutes of action.

D'Angelo Russell scored 18 points in 29 minutes, but shot just 7-of-20 from the floor and 2-of-6 from the 3-point line. He finished a minus-14 in 29 minutes. Milwaukee improved to 39-13 on the season and 17-9 on the road, while the Nets dropped to 28-27 overall and 16-12 at home.
