Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo undoubtedly feels blessed to be able to play alongside his brother, Thanasis Antetokounmpo. Well, he's set to be around for another year at the very least.

The older brother of The Greek Freak has exercised his $1.88 million team option for the 2022-23 season.

Via Michael Scotto of HoopsHype:

The Bucks forward played in 48 games in 2021-22, averaging 3.6 points and 2.1 rebounds in 9.9 minutes per night. Definitely not big numbers by any means, but his impact goes much further than on the court. Thanasis is Giannis's ultimate hype man and is always there to support his brother, good times or bad.

Giannis is a superstar in his own right but having Thanasis on the same team and supporting him each and every day is surely a benefit to the Bucks. It must be a dream come true for the Antetokounmpo brothers to both play in the NBA for Milwaukee.

The Bucks fell short of their title goal in the playoffs, bowing out in the East Semis to the Boston Celtics. But, Khris Middleton's postseason-ending injury played a huge part in their early exit, leaving Giannis with minimal help as the rest of the rotation struggled to step up around him.

Time to run it back next year.
