Milwaukee Bucks fans breathed a sigh of relief before the beginning of last season as Giannis Antetokounmpo signed a five-year, $228 million extension to commit to the franchise. It paid off for both sides as the Bucks were the last team standing when the dust settled. Now it appears they may be starting the new season with the same good omen.

Another Antetokounmpo as locked in a deal to keep him in Milwaukee. This time it's Giannis' older brother Thanasis who is committing to a two-year deal, per report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Thanasis Antetokounmpo wasn't the most productive on the court, playing in 57 games with averages of 2.9 points and 2.2 rebounds in under 10 minutes played per contest. But he definitely plays a larger role for the Bucks both on the sidelines and behind the scenes.

Giannis has always been huge on family. The man could very well be considered the Vin Diesel of the NBA for the stories about how much he sacrificed for his family, even after he made it to the league.

To have his brother around for both the ups and downs surely keeps him level-headed in those moments. Winning the NBA title alongside him definitely made sticking around in Milwaukee that much sweeter.
