The Milwaukee Bucks just booked their spot in the NBA Finals after taking down the Atlanta Hawks on their home floor in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Saturday. This was thanks in large part to an epic third-quarter performance by Khris Middleton en route to setting a new franchise record for the Bucks.
Giannis Antetokounmpo was out of action in this one with a knee injury, so Middleton put the team on his shoulders. This resulted in an awe-inspiring and record-breaking 23-point third-quarter effort by the Bucks All-Star:
Talk about a hot hand. As the factoid above states, this also isn't the first time Middleton has had a scoring outburst in a single quarter. As a matter of fact, not even back-to-back MVP winner Giannis Antetokounmpo has touched this franchise record.

Middleton is clearly one of the best scorers in the game today. With yet another jaw-dropping performance for the Bucks — something that he's done all playoffs long with or without Giannis — has Khris Middleton actually done enough to prove that Antetokounmpo is the Sam to his Frodo Baggins?
