DeAndre Liggins will have another shot at continuing his NBA career, as he was recently claimed off waivers by the Milwaukee Bucks, according to Marc Stein of the New York Times.

The 29-year-old Kentucky product was waived last week by the Miami Heat, and once again became a free agent. With the season about to start, many thought of him possibly getting employed overseas or in the G League instead, as the Bucks did not emerge as a possible landing spot for him.

After being selected 51st overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2012 draft, Liggins has bounced around the league, and has suited up for five different teams. He is also a G League veteran, and has experience playing overseas, having played for Krasny Oktyabr in Russia and Eisbären Bremerhaven in Germany back in the 2014-15 season.

Now with the Bucks, he will add more depth to their shooting guard rotation. His ability to also play at the small forward position will allow head coach Jason Kidd to field in more combinations this season, If he can play solid basketball and prove that he belongs in the NBA, Liggins could find his home in Milwaukee, and finally secure his future in the league.
