The Milwaukee Bucks have been having a solid offseason thus far. While they lost point guard Malcolm Brogdon to the Indiana Pacers, they have been able to re-sign Brook Lopez and George Hill, while also signing Robin Lopez to add front-court depth. Now, the Bucks have added more back-court depth.

According to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Bucks have agreed to a contract with veteran shooting guard Wesley Matthews.

Matthews had a roller coaster ride in 2018-19, starting the season with the Dallas Mavericks before being traded to the New York Knicks. New York then chose to buy him out and he decided to finish the season with the Indiana Pacers.

Following the move to sign with the Pacers, Matthews ended up helping Indiana make a run into the playoffs. He played in and started 23 games with the team, averaging 10.9 points per game to go along with 2.8 rebounds and 2.4 assists. Matthews shot 36.9 percent from the three-point line.

Milwaukee will be getting a feisty defender and another three-point shooter to space the floor around Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Signing with the Bucks will give Matthews a chance to compete for an NBA Finals appearance. At 32 years old, he knows he is entering the final stages of his career and there is no time like the present to make a run.
