The Chicago Bulls are the toast of the town these days. With their blazing 4-0 start to the new NBA season, the Bulls are definitely on parade.
With their early success, fans aren't the only ones thrilled. Even former Bulls players have been enticed to watch the games from the sidelines.
The team's Twitter account posted a picture on Wednesday showing Brad Miller (that's him, right?), Joakim Noah, Kirk Hinrich, and Omer Asik hanging out together in what looks like a bar in the Windy City. They're probably fondly reminiscing about the good old days. Or Carlos Boozer's chest hair. Ah, nostalgia.
To jog your memory, all of them were part of those successful Bulls teams in the 2010 decade helmed by coach Tom Thibodeau and led by Derrick Rose. They made deep runs in the NBA Playoffs, even making the Eastern Conference Finals in 2011.
Having Rose, who was the star of those Bulls squads, with his former teammates would've made the picture even more perfect. He grew up in the NBA along with these guys, especially Noah, who's one of Rose's closest friends up to this day.
For sure, Rose, Noah, Miller, Hinrich, and Asik are happy to see the current version of the Bulls mirroring their success. Zach LaVine, Lonzo Ball, DeMar DeRozan, Nikola Vucevic, and Alex Caruso have definitely turned things around.
The Bulls will host the New York Knicks on Thursday.
