Chicago Bulls forward Jabari Parker will suit up Tuesday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

This will be the 23-year-old Parker's second game in the last 14 for the Bulls, after notching 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting and 7 rebounds against the Utah Jazz on Saturday.

The former No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 NBA Draft has been tormented by injuries thus far through his four-year career, undergoing two ACL surgeries. Though the physical setbacks have been total development buzzkills for Parker, he has also struggled to find the right destination to get his career going the way he originally intended.

Parker's name has circulated recently in trade rumors as the deadline approaches. After signing a two-year, $40 million contract in free agency with his hometown Bulls, things haven't gone as planned.

Chicago head coach Jim Boylen has mostly had the 6-foot-8 forward riding the bench in the past month. Perhaps a matchup in Los Angeles could be a way to get him back into the regular rotation. Boylen could be encouraged to change his mind about Parker if he can find a way to feed off this past weekend's performance.

The Bulls have showed plenty of struggle this season at 10-33, and will try to break up their seven-game losing streak at the Staples Center.

Lakers star forward LeBron James and Rajon Rondo will continue to be sidelined for yet another game this season. This will be James' 10th straight absence, as LA works to stay afloat in the Western Conference without him.
