Chicago Bulls stud Zach Lavine will be playing in his first All-Star Game on Saturday. He will be suiting up for Team Durant after being selected by the Brooklyn Nets superstar as one of the players on his side.

LaVine drew praise from Durant as well as LeBron James, as the two All-Star captains talked up LaVine for his upcoming All-Star debut:

“I'm very excited about this one,” Durant said on the TNT broadcast as he set up the selection (h/t Rob Schafer of NBC Sports Chicago).

James then got in on the action, heaping further praise on the Bulls guard:

“That boy a sniper. That boy got game,” James quipped.

There's no denying that. It's great that Zach is finally getting the recognition he deserves. LaVine has been playing at an elite level this season, and while some nay-sayers might think otherwise, he's absolutely earned his spot on the All-Star squad. Clearly, both KD and LeBron seem to agree.

LaVine will team up with Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Joel Embiid, Kawhi Leonard, Jayson Tatum, Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Zion Williamson, Donovan Mitchell, Nikola Vucevic, and Julius Randle on Team Durant. KD will be sitting out the exhibition match due to injury, with Domantas Sabonis being named as his replacement.

Zach LaVine is going to be pretty busy this coming weekend as he is also set to take part in the 3-Point Contest. Unfortunately, he's taken a pass on this year's edition of the  Dunk Contest. That would have been fun to see, right?
