Scottie Pippen and Phil Jackson have a long history together. Jackson led Pippen and the Bulls to six NBA championships.

Last year, Hall of Fame forward Scottie Pippen accused Phil Jackson of being racist. Pippen said this because of the famous incident that happened in the 1994 playoffs.

In the 1994 playoffs in a game between the Chicago Bulls and the New York Knicks, Phil Jackson called a play for Toni Kukoč.

Pippen refused to come into the game coming out of the timeout because he felt that Jackson called this play because he is racist.

Pippen wrote a book and happened to walk back on his comments about Jackson. During an interview with Sopan Deb of the New York times, Pippen had this to say when asked “What made you walk that back in the book?

“I didn't walk it back. I just didn't have it in the book.. it was probably not right for me to say that about Phil being racist at this stage. It's water under the bridge now. But at that point in time, based on where I was as a player, the year that I was having, I thought it was a bad move on his part.”

Pippen might have not put that in his book just so he didn't have to make any more statements about it. From the look of things, it does seem that Pippen does still believe that Jackson was racist for that play call.
