One of the biggest talking points of the upcoming episodes of ESPN's The Last Dance is the fight that went down between former Chicago Bulls teammates Michael Jordan and Steve Kerr one time in practice.

Both men will relay their own sides of the story in the episodes that air Sunday, and it is certainly one of the most anticipated moments of the docu-series.

Recently, Kerr recently opened up a bit more about this infamous incident, and one of his revelations centered around how not only Jordan reached out to him soon after to apologize. Apparently, according to the former Bulls guard, the rather violent turn of events actually brought him closer Jordan.

“He called me later that day and apologized,” Steve Kerr said of Michael Jordan, via ESPN's Nick Friedell. “In a strange way, it was almost a necessary step in our relationship, in a weird way. And from then on, I think he understood me a lot better and vice versa. And we got along much better and competed together and I think he trusted me more. So it was actually sort of, in the end, it was all good. But we've never talked about it since. To be honest, I don't ever think about it, but I get asked about it because it's a unique [situation].”

Sometimes, the worst moments bring out the best results, and this appears to be the case for Kerr and Jordan. After all, they did win three titles together with the Bulls, so there's no denying that there was chemistry between them throughout.
