Combo guard Tomas Satoransky thinks he matches what the Chicago Bulls want from him.

Satoransky signed a three-year, $30 million deal with the Bulls in free agency. He's excited to get a fresh start in Chicago after spending the first three years of his NBA career with the Washington Wizards.

“When Chicago actually called and presented me the offer, I was kinda thinking about Chicago, about their potential,” Satoransky told Fred Katz of The Athletic. “(They’re a) young team, and I think I match what they want from me. So, I really felt like that could be a good option for me.

“I don’t mean specific things. I just mean, all three years — at the end, I did get a chance to play, but it was always depending on someone’s injury. And obviously, it was John (Wall). I was ready for that. But I just mean in terms of, I’d already thought I did enough, but it wasn’t enough. I always had to do something better. I kind of felt that way. My first year was something else. My first year, I understood that I’m a rookie. It was very tough for me, but I know that everyone from Europe has to go through something like that. But I just felt like it’s something that — I always have to do a little bit more than others.”

Tomas Satoransky averaged 8.9 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.0 assists last season for the Wizards while shooting 48.5 percent overall, 39.5 percent from the 3-point line and 81.9 percent from the charity stripe.

The Bulls will use Satoransky at the point guard and shooting guard spot. Chicago has Kris Dunn and Coby White as the other two point guards on the roster.
