Chicago Bulls shooting guard Zach LaVine says he's aiming to play in all 82 regular season games in 2019-20.

LaVine played in 82 games during his second season in the league with the Minnesota Timberwolves. The high-flyer tore his left ACL in his third season and played in just 24 games in his first year with the Bulls since he was rehabbing the ACL injury.

This past season, LaVine played in 63 games. The 24-year-old says he's been training this summer with the focus of being more durable.

“I'm getting my body ready,” LaVine told Sam Smith of Bulls.com. “Working on the explosive things, getting my legs and body ready for the whole 82. I haven't played a whole 82 since my second year in the NBA and I'm aiming for that.

“Plus, I'm working on different facets of my game. I think I did a really good job of getting to the free throw line, but I can improve that.”

Zach LaVine is arguably the best player on the Bulls. He averaged 23.7 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.5 assists this past season while shooting 46.7 percent from the field, 37.4 percent from beyond the arc and 83.2 percent from the free-throw line. LaVine scored at least 20 points 45 times and reached 30-plus points 11 times.

It would be impressive if LaVine is able to play in all 82 games. The way Chicago head coach Jim Boylen works his players, though, odds are LaVine won't be able to accomplish his goal.
