Casey O'Neill has her next fight booked and it's a fun one. The rising flyweight contender is set to meet a pioneer in women's MMA.

MMA Ideas reports that Casey O'Neill is set to take on Roxanne Modafferi at UFC 271. The bout was confirmed by multiple outlets after the initial report.

UFC 271 is currently set for February 12, 2022, and does not yet have a location. The event is still taking shape with many more bouts expected to be added to it.

Casey O'Neill is currently unbeaten and has been on a fantastic run since entering the UFC. She is currently 3-0 with all of the wins coming by finish.

She made her debut in the UFC in a February Fight Night event against Shana Dobson. She would win the bout via TKO in the second round.

Casey O'Neill most recently fought at UFC Fight Night: Walker vs Santos where she took on the sister of flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko, Antonina. She won the bout by TKO with very heavy ground and pound that forced the referee to step in and call the bout.

Roxanne Modafferi is coming off of a loss to Taila Santos at UFC 266. She will be looking to knock off another hyped prospect.

Roxanne Modafferi has made a tradition to beat tough prospects and derail their hype trains. This can be seen with Maycee Barber and Antonina Shevchenko, she will have the opportunity to keep it going in February.
