Jennifer Garner is weighing in on the rumored relationship troubles between ex Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez as she wishes the couple luck amid the trials and tribulations they might be going through at this time.
“She wants him happy and healthy so he can be the best dad possible,” a source told People referencing the three children Garner and Affleck share: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
The source added that the 13 Going on 30 actress “wants the best for” Affleck.
This is not the first time Garner has spoken about Lopez and Affleck. She previously wished the couple well last week.
“She fully supports their relationship and wants nothing more than for him to be happy,” a source told Us Weekly Tuesday (May 21).
“Jennifer Garner is encouraging Ben to work on his marriage to Jen,” the source said, adding that Garner understands how being in the spotlight “can put a strain” on a relationship.
Garner and the Air actor were married from 2005–2018. The actress has not remarried but is dating John Miller, CEO of Cali Group.
Affleck married Lopez in 2022. The two were recently engaged in 2005 but ultimately called off the wedding.

Lopez and Affleck have made headlines recently about some turmoil in their relationship after the two had not been photographed together in quite a while previously. During a press conference for Atlas, a Netflix film starring Lopez, Sterling K. Brown, and Simu Liu, the actress did not hold back from a journalist who abruptly asked if she and Affleck were separated.
“You know better than that,” Lopez responded.
Co-star Liu also defended the actress, saying, “Don’t come in here with that energy, please.”
“Jen is a producer on this movie, and the reason why I’m here and the reason Sterling K. Brown was in this beautiful movie is because Jen cares and Jen cares about things like representation and diversity, and she’s a boss, and she’s an incredible creative and an icon, and that’s what I think we should celebrate her for today,” Liu stated.

The rumors really have started to swirl as In Touch reported that the couple was “headed for a divorce.”
“The writing is on the wall – it’s over,” the insider told the publication. “They’re headed for a divorce – and for once, [Ben’s] not to blame!”
“He's focusing on his work and his kids now,” the insider adds. “Ben already moved out and they’ll likely have to sell the dream house they spent two years searching for. They’ll never stop loving each other, but she can’t control him, and he can’t change her. There’s no way it could have lasted.”
However, Lopez has “not been paying much attention to any outside hate.”
“Ben is 100 percent supportive of Jen and keeps it real with her,” the source said. “They both know this is part of the business and remind each other that you can't please everyone. They acknowledge what really matters, lift each other up, and encourage each other's talents and capabilities.”
