Celtics vs. Mavericks Game 4 Results According To NBA 2K24

According to our NBA 2K24 simulation, the Dallas Mavericks will beat the Boston Celtics in Game 4 of the NBA Finals 105-91. The Mavericks finally found a way to win a game in this series, thanks to a strong team effort in the final four minutes of regulation. The Celtics, who are just one game away from winning the Finals, struggled keep things close in the end.

The game was a constant back-and-forth between both teams throughout most of the game. With just under five minutes remaining, the Celtics were trailing by one point (89-90). However, the Mavericks went on a strong 15-0 run between 4:43 and 0:44 in the fourth quarter. They somehow managed to stymie the Celtics offense while increasing their lead. Their efforts paid off as they win their first game of the series.

In terms of player performances, Luka Doncic led his Mavericks team, but several players saw plenty of action throughout the game. Doncic ended up scoring 26 points while earning 9 rebounds ands six assists throughout the game. Kyrie Irving followed up, dropping 21 points while earning five rebounds, 3 assists, and a steal. Another shoutout goes to Daniel Gafford, whose 18 rebounds, 4 steals, and 1 block granted the team more scoring opportunities.

As for the Celtics, Jayson Tatum played really well, earning 41 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, and a steal. But other than Jaylen Brown, nobody else the team managed to score more than 10 points. Perhaps the absence of Kristaps Porzingis, whose chances of playing are up in the air, affected the team both offensively and defensively. Regardless, Boston was certainly hoping not to extend this series another game.

With the win, the Dallas Mavericks finally secure their first win of the series. While they still face an uphill battle, the goal now is to just focus on game at a time. Play every game like it's your last on earth, and hope for a chance to make a comeback. While it seems likely that the Celtics will win, the Mavericks will hold onto what little hope remains. We'll see how long their miracle run can last.

As for the Celtics, the loss here is definitely frustrating, but there is no reason to panic. On the upside, they now have the chance to win the series at home in Game 5 in front of the fans. However, it also means they have to wait a bit longer as the pressure continues to build up. Will Boston finally prevail in Game 5? Or will the seemingly impossible comeback actually happen?

In terms of accuracy, we do feel the score could happen. However, I'm not quite sure if either team is really going to win by a big margin, considering how the last two games actually ended up. In terms of injuries, we decided to keep Kristaps Porzingis out. Despite his willingness to play, it's obvious that the injuries are taking their toll on the man. If they do decide to start him, we won't receive such an announcement until later on.

Regardless, whether or not this is our last simulation, we had blast with them. If this is to be our last simulation, then we enjoyed providing you with something before the playoff games began. We look forward to running more simulations of the NBA Playoffs next year in NBA 2K25.
