It has taken some time, but Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Mike Williams is finally in the end zone. On Sunday, the third-year wide-out recorded his first touchdown reception on a 44-yard bomb by Philip Rivers.

Watch below. Rivers goes full-send on third-and-13. Williams makes sure he did so for a reason, as he stretched for the touchdown, and, ultimately, got it over Jaguars cornerback Tre Herndon.

Williams, coming out of Clemson, was pegged to be a contested-catch ace at the next level. The touchdown reception on Sunday should come as no surprise. The 6-4 wide receiver has a catch radius that can cover all of California.

What should come as a surprise, however, is that the Chargers had to wait until Week 14 for him to get his first touchdown reception of the season. In 2018, he recorded 10. The year before, he had none.
