Kansas City Chiefs star quarterback Patrick Mahomes suffered a scary knee injury during Thursday Night Football against the Denver Broncos.
Fellow star players quickly took to Twitter to show support for Patrick Mahomes and wish him a speedy recovery, including Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson and Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz.

Everyone in the sports world will be hoping and praying for Mahomes tonight. He's one of the most exciting, promising young players in the league, and hopefully the injury doesn't derail a young career.
The injury was immediately deemed serious, as Mahomes was ruled out just minutes after being taken to the locker room. While it's easy to speculate about the injury, there's no use. An official report will likely release after the game ends.
For the rest of Thursday Night Football, the Chiefs will deploy Matt Moore at quarterback. Unfortunately for the Broncos, starting quarterback Joe Flacco is also taking a beating. He's already sustained five sacks in the first half alone.
Hopefully, Flacco can continue to fight through a terrible offensive line and finish the ball game.
