The Kansas City Chiefs are headed to the AFC Championship Game next weekend, but the hero of the game is not who you expected.

It wasn't Patrick Mahomes, it wasn't Travis Kelce, Tyreek Hill, or even one of their defensive stars.

Chad Henne sends the Chiefs to the next round of the playoffs with an incredible trick play.

After an incredible run on third and long, Henne iced the game with a throw to Hill when nobody, not even CBS broadcaster Tony Romo, expected the Chiefs to run a play. On fourth and inches, Andy Reid decided to throw the ball on the outside to speedster Hill, who eventually got the first down with ease.

The Browns played an honest game but ultimately couldn't get anything going on offense. Browns head coach Kevin Stefanski made a costly decision and decided to punt the ball facing a fourth and long late in the game. The Browns were down by five points, only had one timeout, and there were just over four minutes to go in the game. Stefanski must have believed that his defense could get him the ball back, but it ultimately cost him in the end.

The Chiefs lost Patrick Mahomes early in the second half to a concussion, which is why Henne was even in the game in the first place.

Mahomes' status for next week's game against the Buffalo Bills is still uncertain so we may see Henne suit up at Arrowhead Stadium.

Everyone wants to see Mahomes out there, but if he can't go, Henne is going to try and play the Nick Foles role and get the Chiefs their second consecutive Super Bowl.

After all, Henne-thing is possible.
