The Kansas City Chiefs got some big news ahead of their Week 16 contest as they have announced that all-pro defensive tackle Chris Jones will play against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

This is a huge game for the Chiefs so they want to make sure that they have everybody healthy and ready to go. Kansas City needs to take care of business and even though the Steelers have not been playing necessarily great football this season, they still aren't an easy team to beat at times. Kansas City currently has a two-game lead in the AFC West in front of the Los Angeles Chargers and they want to make sure that they walk away with the division. A win on Sunday would be huge for the AFC West.

At this point in the season, it seems likely that the Chiefs are going to make the playoffs unless something drastic happens. Right now all they are worried about is keeping their guys healthy and getting somebody back like Chris Jones is definitely a step in the right direction for this team.

If they're going to want to win another Super Bowl, they're going to need everybody healthy. This is going to be one of the tougher years for them to win it as they have not necessarily been playing as well as the Chiefs usually do, but as they have shown, they can turn it on at any moment and that's going to help them in the playoffs.
