The Kansas City Chiefs and New England Patriots will square off in a rematch of last year's AFC Championship Game but there appears to be a mix up before the teams play. According to Adam Schefter, Kansas City's uniforms were mistakenly sent to New Jersey instead of New England.

Most people who see this report are going to poke fun at the Patriots for purposely sabotaging the Chiefs. On the contrary, it is Kansas City's fault for failing to unload the equipment crate off of the team plane on Saturday.

As a result, roughly 35 players are left without shoulder pads and helmets in pre-game warmups. The Chiefs are doing everything they can to get the equipment to arrive in time for Sunday's game in New England.

Luckily for Kansas City, their missing equipment is expected to arrive at Gillette Stadium between 3-3:30 PM EST. In the event that the Chiefs didn't receiver their equipment on time, they would have to forfeit the game.

The game between the Chiefs and Patriots was already a highly anticipated game. Now, with added theatrics, this game becomes even more interesting between two of the juggernauts in the AFC.

There are tons of instances where players have trouble with equipment during games. But it is uncanny to see a team forget the equipment entirely when arriving in the city they play in.

Nevertheless, a crisis seems to be averted by the Chiefs after an obvious blunder by the equipment staff. The Chiefs are hoping that isn't a sign of what's going to happen on Sunday.
