The Kansas City Chiefs managed to overwhelm the Baltimore Ravens and keep their win-loss record to an impeccable 3-0. However, they suffered a slight scare when running back LeSean McCoy seemingly reinjured his ankle.

McCoy left early in the fourth quarter, giving plenty of Chiefs fans baseless fears that he might have injured his ankle. However, Chiefs coach Andy Reid wasn't too concerned when he addressed Shady's injury after the game.

“Really there’s not much to announce on the injuries,” Reid said per Chiefs Wire. “LeSean McCoy re-tweaked his ankle a little bit, but I think he will be back and fine as we go here.”

The 31-year-old was listed as active against the Ravens after his full participation in practice on Friday. While his early departure from the game gave the team a scare, there's likely no reason that he won't be practicing on Monday.

If his injury isn't serious, then it only adds to the great win the Chiefs savored in Week 3. The Ravens were one of the tougher teams that they will meet in their schedule, so it's important that McCoy, Patrick Mahomes, and the rest of the Chiefs offense managed to get it done.

Shady himself was an asset on both parts of the offense. He managed 54 rushing yards and a touchdown on 54 carries. He also converted a receiving touchdown after three catches and 26 receiving yards.

There's no reason not to expect the productive playmaker to play against the Detroit Lions. The team will make sure that his ankle is well-protected, but he's most likely going to play come Sunday.
