After a trying start to the 2020-21 NFL season, halfback Le'Veon Bell may have found his home with the Kansas City Chiefs. Following his first game with the Chiefs, Le'Veon Bell took to his Twitter page to show his gratitude for being able to continue playing the game he loves with his new squad.

Patrick Mahomes, who vouched for Bell and was excited at the news of him signing with the Chiefs, responded on Twitter to Bell following their 43-16 victory on Sunday.

The defending champions wasted no time in doing away with the Broncos for the majority of the game. Their defense was stellar, which often led to turnovers or even touchdowns for the Chiefs. Mahomes was able to finish the contest completing 65.2 percent of his passes for 200 yards along with one touchdown. Bell finished the outing with 39 rushing yards from six carries.

Bell was released by the New York Jets earlier in October, making him a free agent. The Michigan State standout chose to sign with the Chiefs after narrowing his options down to both them and the Dolphins. While playing in increased snaps with Miami was probably alluding to the three-time Pro-Bowler, the idea of playing on a higher level of intensity for a chance at a championship was the deciding factor for him.

The fun doesn't stop there for Bell, however, as he'll get his first revenge game against the Jets in Week 8, less than a month after being released by a team that saw no chance in integrating his role further into their system.

While Chiefs head coach Andy Reid won't go out of his way simply because of the history between Bell and New York, expect Bell to make sure his leaves his mark on the contest.
