Patrick Mahomes has taken the NFL by storm this season after taking over the starting quarterback job for the Kansas City Chiefs. Not only has he played well, he is also currently viewed as one of the front-runners to win the NFL MVP award alongside Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley.

Unfortunately, fans will be disappointed in the way that Mahomes eats some of his food. Mahomes admitted to Brooke Pryor of the Kansas City Star that he puts ketchup on his macaroni and cheese.

In addition to that, Mahomes also admitted that he puts ketchup on his steak, which will cause even more outcry from many fans.

Throughout the first 10 games of the season, Mahomes has put up video game numbers. He has completed 67 percent of his pass attempts for 3,150 yards, 31 touchdowns, and seven interceptions. Those numbers for a first-year starter are simply unheard of for the most part in the NFL.

At just 23 years old, the Chiefs have the face of their franchise for the long-term future. Mahomes has shown off excellent arm strength and has improved his accuracy immensely from a year ago.

Kansas City is one of the teams to beat in the NFL this season. Heading into Week 11, they hold a 9-1 record, which has them in first place in the AFC. Defeating the New England Patriots in the playoffs is going to be a tough task, but Mahomes and company firmly believe that they can not only make it, but win Super Bowl 53.

Even though Mahomes eats some nasty food, he is playing just as nasty on the field and has quickly become one of the NFL's elite quarterbacks.
