Kansas City Chiefs second-year quarterback Patrick Mahomes has been off to a torrid pace in his first full campaign as the starter that has seen him record 31 touchdown passes through the first 10 games played.

Heinz Ketchup has decided to jump in on the action with Mahomes as it was revealed that he likes ketchup on steak. With that in mind, the company decided to present the 23-year-old with a challenge for an intriguing reward to which he has already issued a response.

Mahomes has been beyond impressive this season as he has exceeded any expectations that were laid before him this year as he has been the leading factor to one of the best offensives in the league that ranks second with 35.3 points per game along with being fourth in passing. He has greatly utilized the talent around him to help elevate him to lead the NFL with 3,150 passing yards and 31 touchdown passes, and second with a 117.4 passer rating. This has currently put him on pace to throw for 5,040 yards along with 50 touchdown passes.

On top of that, he has already set the franchise single-season record for most touchdown passes in a single season. If he were to truly test for that mark of 57 total touchdown passes, he would need to average more than four touchdowns in each of last six games of the regular season. This is a hectic pace, but what he has done so far this season has all but just as eye-brow raising that he hasn't taken his foot off the pedal.

The bar is set for him to reach that feat, which would be the all-time mark for most touchdown passes in a season and more than likely secure him the MVP award for this season. If anything, this adds more motivation and hype to what's been an incredible year by Mahomes.
