Chivalry 2 will be a timed-exclusive for the Epic Games Store when it releases this June on PC.

RETURN TO MEDIEVAL WARFARE IN CHIVALRY 2

Chivalry 2, one of the most awaited games of medieval history enthusiasts, will be releasing later this year. A Closed Beta period from March 26 to 29 will be available for those who pre-order the game on Epic. Meanwhile, the game will launch on June 8, 2021. It will be an Epic Games Store exclusive for the PC in its first year.

Chivalry 2 will put players into epic, 64-player battles. It has a very realistic take on combat, with a deep sword fighting mechanic. While most players may go in and just have a hack at the game, the game can be very complex. If you want to hone your skills in the game, you can master the art of dodging blades and arrows, feinting, and parrying. There's a lot going around here than just mindless hacking.

The game will surely be fun to play, especially with friends. Thankfully, it will be open to cross-platform play. PC players will be able to charge alongside their friends and allies on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. While the game's genre has grown less popular over the past few years, this game's release could usher in its revival.

Chivalry 2 is the sequel to the 2012 game Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. That game itself finds its roots as a mod for the game Half-Life 2 called Age of Chivalry. The game was made using the Unreal Engine, a game development engine owned by Epic Games.
