As the Cleveland Browns get ready to host the Pittsburgh Steelers in a high-stakes divisional matchup, all eyes are going to be on the performances of all the Browns coming off of injuries as they try to stay afloat in the race for the AFC North crown. While taking these factors into consideration, we've got some bold predictions in mind for Sunday morning's Browns-Steelers contest.

Cleveland has been decimated by injuries to Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham, Nick Chubb, Kareem Hunt, and more over recent weeks, but they were still able to claw their way to a victory last week against the Denver Broncos. That keeps them in third place in the division, behind the Cincinnati Bengals and Baltimore Ravens.

Mayfield and Chubb should be back for Week 8, and that will be huge as they aim to keep up with the Steelers' talented skill position group of Dionte Johnson, Najee Harris, and Chase Claypool.

Who will walk out of FirstEnergy Stadium victorious? Here are 4 bold predictions for this Week 8 battle.

Cleveland Browns Week 8 Predictions

4. Nick Chubb returns with a vengeance, amassing 100+ scrimmage yards and 2 touchdowns

Despite missing the last two games, Chubb still remains 3rd in the league in rushing yards. He's a monster with the ball in his hands, and, although the Steelers are a very solid run defense, Kareem Hunt is injured and Chubb should dominate both carries and targets for the running backs. Talent doesn't always trump scheme and game flow, but it usually does in Chubb's case. Expect a big game.

3. Myles Garrett wreaks havoc on Ben Roethlisberger with 3 sacks

Garrett is arguably the league's best player, hands down. It's shown so far this year, as he has 9.5 sacks through 7 games, and is on pace for over 20. He had a 4.5 sack performance against the Bears this year, and, similarly, the Steelers have a poor offensive line that's liable to give up sacks. He's going to feast once again.

2. Odell Beckham has quiet game, but steps up for huge TD late

Beckham has been playing through a shoulder injury for quite some time, but he's continuing to gut it out and play through it. Although that hasn't produced very good results in the stat sheet, he's still a player who goes out and gives maximum effort every play with the talent to explode for big plays. A generational talent like Beckham simply can't be held down for too long, and, as the Steelers key in on the run game late in the fourth quarter, that'll open the door for OBJ to break free for a huge TD up the sideline.

1. Browns stave off late rally, stay in the thick of AFC North hunt

The Steelers retain most of the dangerous core that took them to an 8-0 start last year, but Big Ben's performance has been in decline, and they simply don't have the explosiveness that Cleveland does on both sides of the ball. In front of their home crowd, Cleveland will stay in the thick of the division hunt and walk away victorious.

PREDICTION: Browns 31, Steelers 24
