The Los Angeles Clippers are eyeing a Nov. 13 matchup against the Houston Rockets as a potential return date for star forward Paul George, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.

L.A. will play a back-to-back on the road against the Rockets on Nov. 13 and then against the New Orleans Pelicans on Nov. 14. Both of these are potential return dates, considering it's heavily unlikely George will play in consecutive games coming off an injury.

There is also a less likely chance he returns before then, on Monday, Nov. 11 at home against the Toronto Raptors or after that during a home game against the Atlanta Hawks on Nov. 16. However, the back-to-back set is considered the most likely for his Clippers debut.

George is expected to receive a similar type of load management as Leonard has gotten this season, as the star wing will receive his second day of early season rest on Wednesday against the Milwaukee Bucks through merely eight regular-season games.

The Clippers will likely stagger the rest for both of these injury-laden stars, likely playing one while resting the other and allowing the Clippers to have a star on the floor no matter what.

Los Angeles now has two potent 20-plus-point scorers and two capable All-Defensive team cogs that can dominate at either end of the floor, making them a scary proposition for teams that are facing the two together once they suit up at the same time.
