Los Angeles Clippers guard Landry Shamet believes that Paul George will not have difficulties adjusting to the system of head coach Doc Rivers.

Shamet told Alex Kennedy of Hoopshype that George is an underrated off-ball player. The incoming second-year guard said that based on what he saw during games against George last season, the superstar forward moves very well off the ball — which is why he is getting a lot of good scoring opportunities.

“I think he’s underrated in how well he moves without the ball and comes off screens, the things ‘shooters' do,” Shamet said. “He is a scorer, but I think he does really well moving and playing without the ball.”

The 22-year-old is convinced that George is exactly what the Clippers need. Shamet thinks that George's ability to move and play off the ball very well will make him fit into Rivers' system easily. He added that George will be more dangerous playing alongside another huge threat in Kawhi Leonard.

George, who averaged a career-high 28.0 points last season, was traded by the Oklahoma City Thunder to the Clippers on Saturday. His arrival in Los Angeles helped the Clips secure a three-year deal with Leonard, who was also strongly coveted by the Los Angeles Lakers and Toronto Raptors this summer.
