A month after reportedly signing an exclusive deal with AND1, L.A. Clippers forward Montrezl Harrell reveals that he's no longer with the shoe company.

Dekker and an anonymous fan were arguing on Twitter about the safety of switching helmets in an NFL game, to which the former NBA player sarcastically related to NBA players switching shoes midway through a game.

Harrell chimed in, and through the conversation, Dekker asked the Clips reserve if AND-1 would hit him up with multiple sneakers during their games this upcoming season. Harrell, then, said he's no longer with AND-1.

You have to wonder what went down between their deal just over a month ago. AND-1 has been raring to get back into the NBA shoe game. Several NBA stars of the past such as Jamal Crawford, Vince Carter, and Kevin Garnett – the brand's current creative director – wore AND-1's at some point in their careers. A tough dog like Harrell could have been a good representative for their brand.

The NBA shoe market has been dominated by Nike, while the likes of Under Armour and Adidas have etched their own niches. Other shoe brands such as Puma, New Balance, and ANTA have also been trying to penetrate the league by signing their own signature stars.

The 25-year old hasn't given any indication yet on which brand he will switch to next after his apparent fall out with AND-1. Perhaps he'll be a shoe free agent again just like last season.

As for AND-1, they will have to find a replacement for Harrell. Whatever happened with Harrell's deal, however, doesn't seem to be a good look for them.
