The LA Clippers are preparing to the take on the Denver Nuggets, but they've been forced to play 10 of their last 11 games without Patrick Beverley, all inside the NBA's bubble in Orlando. He missed the final five seeding games recovering from his calf strain only to further aggravate it in Game 1 of round one, where he played just over 20 minutes in against the Dallas Mavericks.

According to head coach Doc Rivers, Patrick Beverley has looked good in practice and is expected to make his return in Game 1 of the Clippers' second round series against the Nuggets.

“You'll see him for sure [in this series],” Rivers said ahead of Wednesday's practice. “I'm pretty sure tomorrow, but I can't guarantee that. But he looks pretty good.”

The Clippers are 14-12 in the games that Beverley doesn't play and 39-13 in the games that he does play. The effort plays that Beverley makes are what's earned him the nickname ‘unstatable,' by media members and Rivers.

Game 1 between the Clippers and Nuggets will take place Thursday night at 6PM PST. If Beverley does end up suiting up for the game, he'll surely be on a minutes' restriction.
