The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the most surprising teams in the league this year. After being written off in preseason playoff predictions, the team proved their doubters wrong and have now clinched a postseason spot.

The race for the fifth to eighth seed in the West is so close that one game could lead them to a first round match-up with the first seed Golden State Warriors or the Houston Rockets, the fourth best team in the conference.

But for Clippers guard Patrick Beverley, it doesn't matter who they face in the first round, as he emphasized that they are confident heading into the playoffs.

“We don't care. We're playing at a high level right now. We're moving the ball, it's fun, and we're defending,” Beverley said in a media scrum after they beat the Cleveland Cavaliers, per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.

“We don't give a shit who we play.”

Without any All-Star on the team, the Clippers relied on every man on their roster as they earned their spot in the playoffs. They have all the momentum they need, and they are very confident that they can pull an upset regardless of who they face in the first round.

If the playoffs started today, the Clippers will face the Portland Trail Blazers, who are in the third spot in the standings. The season ending injury of Jusuf Nurkic could give the Los Angeles team a much needed advantage.
