Los Angeles Clippers forward Paul George reminisced on his monster slam in the 2013 Eastern Conference Finals between the Indiana Pacers and the Miami Heat. According to George, it was James' fault that he spiked one down over them.

Peep George's slam over Chris Anderson after easily getting past James. During this time, George was an up and coming star. He had just won the Most Improved Player of the Year and had been selected into his first All-Star game. According to him, it was James who pushed him to reach greater heights.

“I blame and thank LeBron James for what just happened. You pushed me to another level bro.”

The Pacers squad stretched the series to a Game 7 which is a noteworthy achievement given that the Heat were the defending champions during that time.

Paul George was just in his third year in the league but was already making a name for himself as an elite two-way player. He was also deemed as the Pacers' best player. And rightfully so, was tasked to guard either James or Dwyane Wade.

The series marked George's arrival and his capacity to lead a team deep into the playoffs. In the following year, the Pacers locked the best record in the East with 56 wins. They met the Heat in the Eastern Conference Finals. Though they were once again stonewalled by the powerhouse crew led by James, NBA fans were treated to a young and budding talent on the rise.

Now with the Clippers, basketball diehards are seeing the full potential of George on display.
