LA Clippers shooting guard Lou Williams is a well-oiled machine on the basketball court, but he recently decided to try his hand at fishing.

It was pretty hilarious.

“Drop my sh–,” Williams said during the video he posted of his fishing excursion. “Drop the rod.”

It wasn't long before Williams got a hit on his line…

“Hey, something is pulling on my…,” Williams cried out as his line began to reel out. “How do I stop it!?”

While it wasn't the lunker he was probably hoping for, Williams did manage to catch a fish — albeit a small one.

“No cap! I got a fish!,” Williams said with a big smile on his face. “It's little, but I caught him.”

Clearly, Williams is making the most of his offseason. Perhaps fishing will be a new hobby for the three-time Sixth Man of the Year.

Williams made 75 appearances with the Clippers last season (one start), racking up averages of 20.0 points on 42.5 percent shooting from the field (36.1 percent from beyond the arc), 5.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds and just under one steal (0.8) in 26.6 minutes per outing.

LA finished the 2018-19 regular season with a 48-34 overall record, which earned the team a No. 8 seed in the Western Conference Playoffs. Unfortunately, though, the Clippers were defeated by the Golden State Warriors in the opening round, 4-2.

Without a doubt, Williams and the Clippers will be looking to make another postseason push in the upcoming campaign, especially since they caught two big fish this summer in Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
