Stephen A. Smith usually has a lot to say about pretty much everything. However, even the outspoken analyst was (relatively) at a loss for words after the Los Angeles Clippers' “choke job” in Game 7 on Tuesday against the Denver Nuggets.

The game hadn't even finished yet when Smith recorded this hilarious clip, but he knew that it was over for LA:

Smith could not help but single out Clippers forward Paul George, who was horrible for LA in this one, especially in crunch time. George shot an ugly 4-of-16 (2-of-11 from distance) for just 10 points, four rebounds, and two assists, while also turning the ball over five times throughout the contest. Clearly, the 30-year-old had one of the more forgettable performances in his career — in a pivotal Game 7, no less.

Smith also touched on how Clippers owner Steve Ballmer did pretty much everything in his power to turn this franchise around. This was supposed to be their year, and they were already on the brink of a first-ever Western Conference Finals appearance. Unfortunately for them, they just had one of the most monumental “choke jobs” in playoff history.

It's going to be a very interesting offseason for LA. Both George and Kawhi Leonard have two more years remaining on their respective deals, but both guys have a player option for the 2021-22 season. The Clippers will need to regroup and convince these guys that sticking around for the long haul is the smart thing to do, otherwise next offseason could get really interesting.
