The regional tournaments for North America and Europe will have a $50,000 prize pool each. These tournaments will have qualifiers, while there will also be top teams directly invited to compete. While we don't have any team names yet, Activision announced that sixteen teams will headline each regional event. Meanwhile, several teams will earn their spot in the Masters through the open qualifiers.
The Call of Duty Mobile Masters Open Qualifiers will be held for two days – May 29-30, 2021. As for the format and the registration details, Activision says that these details are to follow. In addition, players eighteen years old and above may join the competition.
The main event of the Masters will be held across five weeks from June 14 to July 12, 2021. All of the matches will be held on Mondays. The winners of the Masters will get a slot at the COD Mobile World Championship 2021 Finals. That one doesn't have a date yet, but Activision will hold it at the end of the year. To add to that, the World Championships itself will have a $2 million prize pool. Finally, fans can watch their favorite teams compete on either of CODM Esports's channels on Youtube and Twitch.
