Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh has gotten a lot of attention in recent days as an investigation has been launched, and Colorado football coach Deion Sanders had an honest take on the matter that might surprise many fans.

“Everyone's trying to get an edge,” Deion Sanders said, via College Transfer Portal. “I mean everyone's trying to get whatever edge they can. You can have someone's whole game plan, they can mail it to you, you still gotta stop it. You still gotta stop it. So in football, it's not as pronounced as baseball. If I know a curveball is coming, I got you. With football, I don't give a darn if you know a sweep is coming, you still gotta stop it. Physically, it's a physical game, you gotta stop it. So that's a little tough. I don't buy into a lot of that stuff that, someone's stealing this, stealing that. I don't buy into a lot of that stuff. You still gotta play the game. Back in our glory days with San Francisco as well as the Cowboys you knew darn well Emmitt Smith is getting the ball. You know darn well Michael Irvin is running the comeback. You know darn well Jay Novacek is gonna do what he's gonna do, and you couldn't stop it.”

It is clear that Deion Sanders and the Colorado football program is not very worried about sign stealing, whether it be Jim Harbaugh and Michigan or anyone else.

Regardless, it will be worth monitoring the investigation.
