Colts QB Carson Wentz’s immediate plan for mysterious foot injury, revealed
The Indianapolis Colts spent the past few days in a bit of a worry after the injury to Carson Wentz circulated. Well, the situation is still up in the air, and there is a possibility that Wentz will need to have surgery, which would put his status for the season in jeopardy. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network, Wentz is going to rest for a few days before determining if surgery is the way to go.
#Colts QB Carson Wentz plans to try to rest and rehab his foot injury over the next few days, source said, rather than have immediate surgery. If all goes well, Week 1 is in play. If it doesn’t improve, the answer may be surgery.

The Colts definitely do not want Wentz to undergo surgery, and if he does, the answer might be Jacob Eason or somebody else via the trade market. Still, not exactly what the Colts want to hear regarding their brand-new quarterback, who they acquired in a trade with the Philadelphia Eagles after Philip Rivers called it a career.
Unfortunately, the situation usually involves surgery, and it could be just a delaying of the inevitable, although the Colts are hoping Wentz can be available when the season begins.
So, we should know in a few days if Wentz will have surgery or be ready to rock and roll for Week One, and the collective fan base in Indy is likely holding their breath until the official announcement is made.
