The Indianapolis Colts would join just two other teams in NFL history if they manage to make the playoffs after a 1-5 start on the season.

Frank Reich's team has completely turned things around after struggling out of the gate, as the Colts now sit at 8-6 on the year due to an incredible stretch of football over the past few months.

It all started with a 37-5 home win over the Buffalo Bills back on Oct. 21, and Indianapolis' most recent victory came on Sunday in a 23-0 thrashing of the Dallas Cowboys.

That has the Colts in a great spot when it comes to having a shot at making the playoffs, and they would be only the third team to do it after such a disappointing start, according to Stephen Holder of The Athletic.

It's hard to find the confidence to come all the way back from that type of start, so Reich and his staff deserve a lot of credit for getting this team back on track.

Of course, so does Andrew Luck and the other playmakers on both sides of the ball, as they've made big play after big play during this impressive string of victories.

Now, the Colts will turn their attention to another important game on Sunday as they host the New York Giants.

After that, Indianapolis will wrap up the regular season with what could be a huge matchup with playoff implications when it hits the road for an AFC South showdown against the Tennessee Titans.
